Jack of All Trades is a parody and a playful exaggeration of DIY repairing – such as can be seen in suburban architecture, garden houses and elsewhere. The key elements of this sort of repairs are the use of residue materials and the bold approach of sticking different forms and materials together. Following the same principles, I have used only ‘ready-made’ wood leftovers from a carpenters’ workshop and improvised with them over a screen printed shape of an anonymous, prefabricated façade.
